DOVETAIL OR DOWEL CUSTOM DRAWERS

Fully Assembled

Dovetail Construction: Drawer boxes are constructed with 1/2” multi-layer European Birch or Solid White Maple with bull nosed edges. Drawer sides are 1/8” lower than the front and back. Drawer bottoms are 1/4” European Birch or White Maple plywood. The bottoms are let in 1/2” and attached with staples and hot melt glue. The bottom groove is concealed in the dovetail joint.

Dowel Assembly: Available in 1/2” multi-layer European Birch, Solid Hard White Maple or White, Black or Almond Melamine. The Melamine sides are flat with a banded edge. Boxes are bored and assembled with 25mm pre-glued hardwood dowel pins. Drawer sides are 1/4” taller than front and back. The bottoms are let in 1/2” and attached with staples and hot melt glue.

These drawers can be ordered pre-finished, without finish, or finish after shipping.

Unassembled – With Bottom & Groove Notches

Drawer sides and bottoms are precision cut, machined and grooved in either dovetail (detailed above) or dowel construction. In dowel construction, pre-glued dowels are inserted into front and back pieces. All parts are provided and ready to assemble. The sides are available in 1/2” or 5/8”; bottoms are 1/4” or 5/8”. The bottoms are let in 1/4” and attached with staples and hot melt glue. The bottom groove is concealed in the dovetail joint. These boxes are available in many wood types. Options are: bull nose, file notch, pre-finished, without finish. or finish after assembling.

These drawers are quick and easy to assemble. The shipping is less expensive and you can order them pre-finished or finish them yourself.
